How to Pause Your AirPods in 4 Different Ways
After uploading a slew of lectures onto my iPod in preparation for a big trip, I realized I'd want to be able to listen to these things as though they were podcasts or audiobooks—that is, each time I stopped listening, I'd want to be able to start back right where I'd left off. The solution lies in the Options tab of iTunes' "Get Info" context menu. This handy little tab lets you tick the "Remember playback position" box, which makes any bit of audio—MP3 or otherwise, as far as I can tell—behave like an audiobook or podcast, keeping track of the time stop so you can pick up where you left off next time you start it up. This setting isn't particularly new I think it's been around since at least iTunes 6 , but it's a lifesaver when you're manually adding your own long MP3s to iTunes. Yea, I noticed that myself. It's a little bit annoying that it does that, but then, the party shuffle in iTunes doesn't shuffle the list as you add things either.
