Featuring Edward Norton as the morose Narrator, Brad Pitt as his charismatic alter ego, and Helena Bonham-Carter as the catalyst who sparks the two men's social revolution, the film is a tornado of action, humor, and horror. In time, Fight Club became recognized as the smart, shocking satire it is.

Due to his stressful job and the jet lag brought upon by frequent business trips, this everyman becomes discontent with his life. Thus he becomes afflicted by recurring insomnia. After a confrontation, they agree to attend separate support group meetings to avoid seeing each other. Both men find the ensuing fight enjoyable. Fight Club is a novel by Chuck Palahniuk. It follows the experiences of an unnamed protagonist struggling with insomnia. Inspired by his doctor's exasperated remark that insomnia is not suffering, the protagonist finds relief by impersonating a seriously ill person in several support groups. Then he meets a mysterious man named Tyler Durden and establishes an underground fighting club as radical psychotherapy.
As films go, Fight Club has managed to enter a world of its own. It is simultaneously loved by all for its incredible storyline, magnificent acting and twist to end all twists, yet is slowly being ousted for its problematic portrayal of toxic masculinity and flawed central characters. He loses all of his possessions in the incident, and the film shows him ringing Marla played by Helena Bonham Carter for help. This one is a bit of a difficult watch in the film. During a support group, we see Chloe begging desperately for someone in the group to have sex with her.
