Slant Society Emily Dickinson is the definition of poetry. Within her poems lies numerous underlying meanings and symbols from her lifetime. It could be the color of your skin or the way you act and move! One wrong move could mean life or death. Racial stereotype is more common than we think. The negativity and oppression that was put on the african americans from the kkk, was the reason why there was a change. Without them the oppression would of taken a lot longer to build up to get to a point where change was needed. The kkk did such bad things that they got on the news constantly and they were spreading such shocking negativity that random people decided to speak up, if they didn 't do these shocking things who knows how many people would of stayed hidden. They started the chain reaction.

Social issues influence people within a society, and people strive to find solutions to them. Social issues are the source of a conflicting opinion on the ground of what is perceived as morally correct or incorrect personal life. These social issues are exceedingly diverse because they exist within the cultural, ethnic, and moral boundaries. There are disagreements around social issues that are worth solving, or that should take precedence.
It seems that no matter how many women enter the work force, they are still not treated equally in career advancement. Holding women back from advancing in their career is pretty obvious at this point in time. This supports that men continue to be treated differently than women in the workplace which is not right on any level.
